Experimental Contribution Regarding the Usage Methods of Various Kimds of Installation for Pottery firing

Summary/Abstract: The experiments try attempt to prove the spossibility so obtain functional pottery using simple methods, similar to those used in prehistory. We experimented three types of firing : open hearth, pit and horizontal kiln. From the first two experiments we obtain enduring pottery, but uneven burnt fired. We tired to obtain a reducing atmosfere for horizontal kiln firing. The results of experiments indicate the fact that a surplus of work and combustibile is necessary in order to obtain quality pottery regarding both the chromatic and the mechanical resistivity.
