Summary/Abstract: Polish political scene before 1989 has been developing in the intensions of one party system. This reason was first and foremost premise in the transition process of political parties from totalitarian monopartism into democratic pluripartism. General progress of Polish political parties and party system after 1989 is therefore complicated phenomenon, although there is possible to locate all cleavages in the primary transformation era until 1993. Even though this chapter of history is very blind under the effect of electoral law and fragmented political scene, all political conflicts from this era are alive among party elites of contemporary Poland. Analysis of this first transition period is more than necessary, because Poland had the most astable party system from the Visegrad group and personal conflicts between president and other political representatives were more than chronic.
