Summary/Abstract: During recent decades, Nordic countries have experienced quite steep rise of right-wing populist parties. The aim of the article is to examine the development and the position of eight right-wing populist parties in the political system of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. For this purposes, the author uses Pedersen`s concept of political parties` lifespan and tries to explain both common features and differences between the parties.
