PHRASEOLOGICAL AND NEO PHRASEOLOGICAL EXPRESSIONS IN UKRAINIAN POLITICAL DISCOURSE

Summary/Abstract: The article outlines the usage of phraseological and neo phraseological expressions in the Ukrainian political discourse, which are generated in order to reinforce politicians’ arguments, postulates and proposals, however, too often misused when trying to convince their political opponents. In the article, contemporary neo phraseological expressions, created for the sake of a more persuasive political message, are cited.
