Summary/Abstract: Working environment has wide and multi-faceted impact on the functioning the person in society, family and his health. One of the most important organizational factors that affect the feelings, emotions, attitudes and behaviors of employees, as well as its efficiency and motivation to work is the organizational climate. Working environment also affects how employees experience their work and they incur in connection with the psychological costs of work. One of the significant cost sources of psychological costs is stress in work, which can be broadly defined as constantly experienced by the employee a sense of discomfort mental and / or physical caused by factors prevailing in the workplace, subjectively perceived by the employee as a nuisance. The article presents selected concepts of organizational climate and the concept of the psychological costs of work J. Mesjasz, and presents the results of my research. Research was carried out in Polish enterprises and shows the relation between climate work and psychological work costs incurred by employees.
