THE GEOGRAPHICAL CONCENTRATION OF MEETING VENUES AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF EVENTS INDUSTRY IN SILESIA PROVINCE

Summary/Abstract: In this article the author has analyzed the events market in the Silesian province with special reference to the administrative division of the province. Presented consequences of the geographical concentration of meetings venues for the management of these venues to event industry. The purpose of the article was to identify and analyze specific aspects of the functioning and development of the market developments in relation to facilities management meetings, the creation of urban special organizational structures for coordinating the creation of products on the market developments as well as the specifics of the promotion with a significant number of large meetings in a relatively small geographical area.
