Summary/Abstract: In this article, the author highlights the actuality of the taut of Saint Gregory, bishop of Nyssa, brother of Saint Basil the Great, from the 4th century, about the problems of his time's society. Many of the problems emphasized and analysed by him, can be also find today, in nowadays society. There, in this approach, the author insists especially on topics like the private property, the usury and the slavery. By researching the works and ideas of Saint Gregory, this article brings into the attention of the contemporary research, the life,the activity and the actuality of the ideas of Saint Basil, one of the most important writers of the Church from the 4th century.
