Summary/Abstract: In the text the author reviews the book of Bogusław Śliwerski titled Scouting the source of pedagogical passion, published by “Impuls” Publishing House, Krakow 2016, pp. 308. Thanks to this publication, we have a chance to have a meeting with the Master. The author himself invites us for this meeting. While reading, we can try to understand the passion of Bogusław Śliwerski—an open, deliberate man, teacher, professor, father, husband, instructor, scout… The book is addressed to all those who want to understand how the active participation and a profound experience of social activity enriches and completes professional and family life, as well as scientific work of Professor, but also those who want to meet a multidimensional man.
