Public electronic communication of local governments units in social media

Summary/Abstract: This article focuses on public electronic communication of local government units in social media. The author performed research on official social profiles of urban communes in Lublin voivodship on Facebook. In the introduction she presents terms and research methods. Further the activity of cities on Facebook is tested and later she analyzes certain profiles structurally by the prism of effective public communication (informing and marketing). Finally, the posts and communication of offices are analyzed.
