Summary/Abstract: Exiled in Spain since 1992, Yugoslavian born playwright, actor and director Hadi Kurich founded the Teatro de la Resistencia (Theatre of the resistance). Kurich rapidly learnt Spanish and soon started producing theatre pieces in this language. Some of these are original plays (Starry Sky above us; Nostalgia), and some others are adaptations of classic plays. The most particular of these would be the 1995 adaptation of the Cervantine novel which we will be analyzing here.
