Summary/Abstract: Our traditional clothes and accessories that are worn during a special event has a significant importance in the Turkish culture. It is therefore very important to document these outfits in order to protect and prevent their disappearance. In our study we studied urba (bindallı), sarka and fes outfits that are worn by local women in Keles, part of city of Bursa, during special events. These outfits were analysed in terms of their color, fabric,material, model characteristics, pattern, sewing, cutting, lining, ornament techniques. Furthermore technical drawings were made from the measurements taken from these outfits in order to document them.
