Summary/Abstract: The author postulates and then provides a critique of ‘media intelligence’ as a possible interpretation of the phenomenon of modern culture as seen from the perspectives of ‘creativity’, of market value, education and of public opinion. In this sense, ‘media intelligence’, being a contemporary form of estranged intelligibility, enhances development of deteriorated capitalist relations in the post-global era by association its application with the practice of creativity, thus indirectly generating the creation of the so-called creative class, i.e. a collectivity identified as a resource for further market exploitation of subjectivity.
