The attitudes of students to save for retirement on the example of the region of Lodz

Summary/Abstract: Students are faced with many problems – one of them is saving for retirement. Among many challenges of adult life, those entering the work must also choose the moment in which they start regular putting money aside to secure a prosperous life at the end of their working life. A specific problem of students is the lack of knowledge about ways to save for retirement, but to make matters worse the lack of awareness of the need to save for retirement. The result is that the moment of start putting money is postpone, which over the years may result in the deterioration of the quality of life in retirement. The aim of the publication is to assess the attitudes of students to saving for retirement on the example of the region of Lodz.
