Preliminary data about initial period of getian settlement in fortified Saharna Mare

Summary/Abstract: By means of putting in use the bronze plane mirror “with lateral handle” discovered in the getian site of Saharna Mare, the article debates the question about the time of the Getian settlement in this area. The cast mirror was manufactured in one of the Attic’s workshops in the 6th c. BC and got to Saharna zone with the first settlers in the end of the century in the time of Darius campaign against Scythians (after 514-512). It still remains interrogative the time of erection of the defenses on the promontory inhabited by the settlers.
