Summary/Abstract: Mihail Ozmidov (1782-1826) was born in Ekaterinoslavskaya province. During Russo-Turkish war of 1806-1812 he was the architect of Iasi town. After the Russian annexation of Bessarabia, M. Ozmidov was appointed provincial architect and surveyor. Among his works it’s worth mentioning Chisinau city plan, city prison project etc.
