Summary/Abstract: This research investigates Polish translations of titles of films and TV series. Specific types of translated names were identified and discussed. The most common translation techniques were distinguished, along with the signs of language tendencies currently prevailing in this category of media names. Both typical and unusual examples of translations of proper names were provided.
