Summary/Abstract: Painting compositions depicting a view of Jerusalem with the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in the central point, surrounded by scenes from the life of Mary and Christ, are the so called Proskynetaria, Panagiotafitika or Jerusalimia, which were created in studios in Jerusalem. Their iconographic program has been drawn up by artists who compiled several dozen scenes of Latin provenance. What is really interesting for us is the technique, the layout of the individual elements as well as the entire concept of presentation.
