DORMITORY EDUCATION IN MADRASA

Summary/Abstract: In this work, the author refers to the objectives of the educational process in a madrasa, whose result is a specificity of certain religious traits and abilities, which is desired and tended to be established in students by education. The work also covers the elaborated syntagma ‘dormitory education’. The basic organizational element of dormitory education is an educational group. The emphasized intention of dormitory education is an upgrade of parental education. Given that students come with different assumptions in a madrasa, the aim of dormitory education is to adapt them to the basic principles of Islam. The way (tarik) of forming a student’s personality in a madrasa goes over the Shariat (jurisprudence). Its firmness is provided with fard, wajib and sunnah. The author also offers the pattern for forming a student’s personality, in accordance with the principles of Islam. The work also contains the instructions for educational activities for students and the ways of their guidance to the goal. The author perceives a student’s education in the context of Islamic spirituality and considers spiritual education as the basis of the educational process. At the end of the work, the principles of the educational operating are elaborated.
