Summary/Abstract: This paper will analyze the various forms of repetition in Skender Kulenovic’s poem Stojanka majka Knezopoljka. The accent of the paper is on the assonance, alliteration and their combination, but some other forms of repetition that seemed interesting are also stressed. The paper will show that repetition is one of the most basic and important stylistic techniques in this poem. Furthermore, the intent of the paper is to explain the function of repetition and its role in the poetic text.
