Summary/Abstract: The destiny of Slobodan Milosevic was not only that of a man and of a head of state, but it left its trail of blood on a country, a continent, on international relations and, not in the least, on the end of the 20th century. His arrest and his trial at the Hague should have cleared the waters and, according to Zoran Djindjic, it should have discharged the Serbian people of this collective responsibility. However, the death in jail of the former dictator is preventing justice from fulfilling its mission and from giving the verdict.
