Summary/Abstract: In May 2015 was conducted presidential elections in Poland. This political event was special from Czech point of view – no other event in Poland since Smolensk catastrophe hasn‘t been commented so often. During one month period more than 60 texts occurred only in main newspapers in Czech Republic. All those texts are treated as one text corpus of more than 100 pages. At the same time as those elections some opinions about foreign media emerged in Poland. According to those opinions media outside Poland are not giving accurate picture of Polish politics. One reason for this is allegedly that authors of texts in which Poland is described, comes originally from Poland and as such are politically biased. Presented text is using quantitative analysis and genre analysis of all texts to avoid such suspicions. Main aim of this texts is to answer the question, who is writing in Czech media abut Poland, which journalists genres is using to do it and if in terms of content analysis there is possibility, that those texts are in fact biased.
