ALTERNATIVE METHODS FOR VALUING HOUSEHOLD’S UNPAID WORK IN BULGARIAN FAMILY

Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the actual issues concerning the valuing of the household’s unpaid work. They are systematized long-standing arguments for valuing of the unpaid domestic work. Based on the comparable analyses the evaluation of the effects of applying in the world practice, the suitable methods are made. The possibilities for using this approaches and methods for the valuing of the household’s unpaid work in the Bulgarian family are identified. The attention is focused on the choice of most proper methods for the evaluation. It is demonstrated that the monetization of unpaid domestic work in the Bulgarian family is really possible.
