Summary/Abstract: The adoption of the world Code of enforcement represents a very useful legal and scientific action for the harmonization of national legislations in the very significant and current matter of enforcement. The code corresponds to a major social and economic interest, namely to facilitate international cooperation and the track of material values without border limits. The world code of enforcement represents a summary of the most important principles of enforcement, at the same time confirming the existence of a true right of enforcement. It introduces new concepts in the matter, provides material transparency, providing for the harmonization of the creditor’s rights with the debtor’s rights, encourages the amicable execution of claims, guarantees the status of the enforcement agents and establishes provisions that may make the state liable for the fulfilment of the enforcement procedures within a reasonable deadline. We believe that this world Code of enforcement will represent an important source of inspiration for the continuous improvement of the national legislations in the matter of enforcement.
