Summary/Abstract: This article describes the most common path of psycho-pedagogical interaction of teacher and learner within social network. The article lists the main features and the nature of users` communications in social networks. The attention focuses on the growing ability of social networks to influence attitudes and opinions of users, modify their own attitude to a given situation, make changes in the system of values. The attempt to solve the negative impact of social networking through the involvement of the teacher in the virtual space of the student is done. The analysis of the survey where it turns out that the attitude of students and teachers to the use of social networking in the educational environment is offered. The examples of joint use of social network and LMS in the educational purposes are considered.
