PRIVILEGES OF TOURISM VALUATION OF THE MOUNTAIN RELIEF OF BAIA DE ARIES AREA

Summary/Abstract: The study carried out emphasizes a few relevant aspects, regarding the durable development and the organization of the geographical space from the Baia de Arieş region, in a new vision – through the exploitation of the tourism potential of the mountain relief. The geomorphologic specificity of this region derives from the spatial-morphological association, on a strong lithostructural fund fragmented tectonically and dissected erosionally, of numerous compound morphostructure. The tourism potential of the mountain relief investigated is expressed by the great morphostructural and landscape variety (volcanic relief, relief developed on crystalline schists, carst relief), the morphological complexity (pyramidal peaks, crests, slants, quays and defiles sectors, calcite plateaus with dolines etc), the topoclimatic conditions with intra-mountain depression specific, and also the diversity of the anthropic elements.
