Summary/Abstract: The preservation of records in Bosnian-Herzegovian archival funds is unsatisfactory. Over two thirds of archival holdings is incomplete, as before archival profession puts many dilemmas and the need to undertake additional activities on its completion. The attempts in this respect have not given satisfactory results. Not only are they filled in the existing funds, but archives still take incomplete archive holdings. All this suggests that the archives must turn over the protection of archive material from the very inception, all the way to taking over the archives. It must be steady and well-designed process.
