HISTORICAL ARCHIVES OF KOTOR IN A FUNCTION OF CITY'S TOURIST OFFER

Summary/Abstract: The author explains and provides a concrete proposal for inclusion of Historical archives of Kotor and other related institutions in the tourist offer of the town of Kotor on the way of organizing related tickets for a city that is surrounded by walls and in which the entrance to the three gates includes time for tourists to implement organized visits to all institutions that deserve it so they themselves of his visit have financial impact. Given the fact that the entry area of Kotor in UNESCO World Natural and Cultural Heritage declared by UNESCO, and the Bay of Kotor in the list of the most beautiful bays in the world, Boka is in the best manner recommended in the market of tourist demand, that is the reason that the cultural heritage of Kotor and Boka which makes 75% of the cultural monuments of the Republic of Montenegro, should be a very important dimension of the tourist offer, that must be directed towards the flow of tourist movement, while it worthily presents culture available to domestic but also foreign tourists. Putting Historical Archives of Kotor in the function of tourist offer is attempted for decades by the need of this institution for giving a concrete contribution to the tourist offer of the city, seeking its place, role and finally, "the benefits of the institution" in the development of the tourism industry as a whole.
