Summary/Abstract: The customs administrations of the Member States of the European Union only to a small extent, serve the function of modern provider of budget revenues. Their primary task was therefore to provide protection and safety of a single customs. Intensification of trade on a global scale brings with it a number of risks violating rules of a non-fiscal. Consequently, in the customs activities of EU Member States there has been a rise in the importance of the issue of control.
