Summary/Abstract: The concept of fundamental principle of Forensics is a rule applying to all fields, by synthesising the basic rules drawn from a rich experience in forensic practice. The system of the fundamental principles of Forensics includes the principle of legality, the principle of finding the truth, the presumption of innocence, the principle of identity or the principle that any criminal act leaves traces, so that it appears that we are dealing with a unitary system of fundamental rules, in which the general principles of criminal law and of criminal procedure law are harmoniously combined with Forensics’ own principles.
