Migration as one of the Strategies of Life of the Young Generation

Summary/Abstract: Nowadays an economic migration is taken by many people. The main causes are connected with a labor market, a lack of employment or desire for a higher salary. The migration is also a tempting prospect for the youth. Therefore, the main aim of this article is to give the answers why young people want to emigrate? What factors are important to decide to emigrate by students? Do they have any experience with economic migration? The analysis is based on the research conducted in 2015 and 2016 in two universities in Lublin (Poland) and Vilnius (Lithuania). The article presents the willingness to emigrate of the young generation, an assumed length of stay abroad as well as the role of migration networks.
