Summary/Abstract: TheBill is a response to allegations raised by the European Commission concerning fees forpatent attorneys. The main role of the Bill is to repeal Article 13 and 13a of the Act of11th April 2001 on Patent Attorneys. The Bill, however, does not omit describing lowestrates of legal representation before judicial authorities and the Patent Office, althoughnow the rules on that matter shall perform only an informative role. A rule dealingwith rules of bearing costs by the State Treasury of an ex officio assistance of the patentattorney, has been modified as well. The author stated that the Bill does not causeobjections of a legislative nature.
