PROTECTION OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE IN THE REPUBLIC OF BULGARIA

Summary/Abstract: This report’s goal is to establish to what extent the contemporary criminal law ensures the adequate and effective protection of justice. Its focus is the current status and specific features of the structure of criminal attacks against judicial authorities. The specific deficiencies have been identified, as well as, the gaps in the disposition and the sanction for individual provisions pursuant to Chapter VIII, Section III of the Special Part of the Penal Code and formed proposals for amending the legislation.
