Summary/Abstract: The excavations carried out between 2003 and 2009 by National Museum of Union at the site „Recea” (Monolit) in Alba Iulia revealed the presence of very rich archaeological materials belonging to several habitation horizons. This study presents the bronze finds discovered without a clear context in the 2003-2006 campaigns. The bronze prehistoric objects are represented by three bronze chisels, four pins of different types and a socketed axe. In most cases there are no informations related to the discovery context, so no considerations can be done regarding the manner of deposition and the connection to a certain archaeological feature. The only exception is represented by the bronze socketed axe, which has been deposited on the ground, with the blade downwards. We may suppose the existence of a single piece deposition in this case. Archaeological materials from Ha A and B phases were recently published, together with a 14C date from a Gáva feature. Chronologically, the items presented in this article can be attributed to Ha A-B deposits within the site. They offer more information regarding the bronze metallurgy during the transition from Late Bronze to Early Iron in the Alba Iulia region.
