Summary/Abstract: The presence and possibility of using computers in teaching process has already been analysed many times – both theoretically and empirically. Unfortunately, the scale of these analyses is not reflected to any degree in the actual presence of the new media in the school reality. This might be caused by underestimating or failing to notice the fact that a contact between the human and a computer (and thus, similarly, a student and a computer) is convergent with a human-human relationship. This means that it is not possible for new technologies to easily replace teaching aids used so far. While analyzing this problem the author refers to Okoń’s didactic theory of multilateral education. The author postulates the need for far-reaching empirical and theoretical research in this area and suggests using the concept of transactional analysis.
