Controversies about the Establishment and Termination of the Employment of War and Military Invalids

Summary/Abstract: Since 1975 when the Labour Code entered into force, the legislator has not taken up the task to review groups in relation to which the obligatory employment and protection against unemployment have been introduced. Until now, the law provides the group ofwar invalids with an absolute right to employment. This right is also granted to military invalids, however, their situation is much more complicated. It is because the legislator has introduced for this group a specific way of employment with or without the district governor’s referral. Such division of the mode of employment has influenced the protection of long-term employment. As a result, there are two groups of military invalids at the moment which falls under universal or special protection of the stability of employment.
