Summary/Abstract: The paper focuses on the difficulties encountered by students in organizing presentations in the English language. Investigation of presentation in English skills development, conducted at Aleksandras Stulginskis University, has established the development of speaking and communication skills to be the greatest advantage named by students. Students see the pre-stress and fear of nervousness and failure to speak fluently as major problems in preparation for presentation in English. Fear of public speaking in group and fear to speak in foreign language are the greatest difficulties encountered by students when making presentation in English. The best way to overcome the difficulties of oral presentation in English is preparation of the presentation together with partner. This investigation emphasises the importance of favourable psychological environment in English classes and the necessity of clear and specialized definition of requirements for making presentations in English.
