Summary/Abstract: This article refers to changes in the international position of Central Europe in the context of integration to the European Union. The author presents the current nature of this region and future of the European Union and also problems of Central Europe region. This indicates the specificity of this region, its dependence on international actors and security deficiencies. There are analyzed changes resulting from development of the European integration. There is not perceived only the impact of international organizations, but also the role of superpowers in the region.
