Feasibility of financing grafting procedures with transplants supplied by health providers who are not under contract for rendering medical services

Summary/Abstract: The issue of clearing health procedures, involving transplants provided by medical entitieswho are not under contract with the National Health Fund for rendering health services – mayinvite numerous questions, particularly when such services were performed in emergency, lifethreatening circumstances, even involving actual loss of life. It is unquestionable that managing health needs of the patients constitutes the overriding objective of the Fund’s activity, and isregarded as significantly more important than financial matters vital for the health entities concerned.It is, however, essential to settle the chances of clearing such procedures, creating the necessity of defining both legal grounds as well as circumstances of such clearances.
