Summary/Abstract: Memet Baydur is one of the most important figures of contemporary Turkish drama. He deals with inner conflict of individuals and their attitude towards life. In this study, his well-known plays: Limon, Maskeli Süvari and Yangin Yerinde Orkideler are going to be analyzed in the aspect of intellectual concept. The responsibilities of the intellectual, his/her hopes for this appointments for the future are you going to be studied through the use of language.
