Summary/Abstract: The text examines the issues of freedom of speech in terms of social sciences and linguistics. Freedom of speech and its limits are confronted with manifestations of linguistic aggression. The text presents the legal protection of this fundamental human right but also the obligations that must be followed in its practice. The text tries to present some of the concepts of linguistic aggression, without being exhaustive and to indicate some areas of aggressive verbal behavior in the context of the common manifestations of human aggression.
