ACCESS TO THE ARCHIVES OF REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

Summary/Abstract: Archive of Republika Srpska has emerged from the Archives of the Bosnian Krajina. Today it is a centralized archive institution based in Banja Luka, with five departments in Doboj, Zvornik, Trebinje, Srbinje (Foca) and Serbian Sarajevo. In my work archives pays special attention to creating conditions for free access to archives. Thus, despite all the problems in the use of archives, a far greater number of unresolved resolved or negative applications. It should be noted that archival materials are more and more often used by the media and so far we have not had cases of abuse of such use, as we try to to meet all customers and satisfying their demands. Archives significantly contributes to the achievement of democracy, freedom and rights of all people. No case that some of the users disabled the use of archives or insight into the same is allowed if it meets all legal requirements. Even access to archives is sometimes allowed without researcher's fulfillment of all conditions...
