EXAMPLES OF EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES DONE BY ARCHIVE OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

Summary/Abstract: The archival institutions through various forms of cooperation with schools become more accessible and better known to the general public so that a wider range of users of archives. At the same time, these aspects of cooperation between the public was informed about the importance of archives as a valuable segment of our cultural past. The main purpose of cooperation between archival institutions and schools is that students acquire basic knowledge of archivists, which will help them to understand the need for storage, protection and use of archives, all derived from the fact that it contains the wealth of information for the history and other sciences. The two described the competition organized by the Archives of Bosnia and Herzegovina are fully answered these tasks. It is a pity only that they are not traditional, but only temporary forms of cooperation between archival institutions and schools where there are a lot of interested professors and students.
