Summary/Abstract: During the year 2016, the research on the size of population of paleoendemic rodent species Martino’s vole (Dinaromys bogdanovi (Martino, 1922) was carried out. The studies were conducted on 10 selected mountains in Bosnia and Herzegovina from May to October. The selected mountains were: Trebević, Bjelašnica Sarajevo, Jahorina, Visočica, Treskavica, Prenj,Čvrsnica, Zelengora, Velež and Crvanj. The Sherman traps were used for trapping. In the same we put the cotton wick with a combination of corn and wheat seed. We also put a piece of apple in traps to prevent dehydration of the individuals. In total three individuals on two mountains (Trebević and Zelengora) were caught at altitudes greater than 1600 m above sea level (m.a.s.l
