Summary/Abstract: Folle qui s'ennuie (1933) by Belgian writer Robert Vivier is a novel that traces character Antonia Delfosse's daily life, from her childhood in the countryside to adulthood, as a recently married young woman withering between routine and disappointment in a “garden-city” near Brussels. A daily life that is full of colors, scents and flavors, whose unfolding structures the text, transforming it into a symphony of senses. In this article, we aim to analyze this rather scantily studied novel by focusing on its chromatic composition.
