Summary/Abstract: This study aims at analyzing remote sensing which represents a scientific activity by means of which information related to the use of satellites is obtained and processed. The procedure used to obtain this information is becoming increasingly important, even vital, when it comes to ensuring state security against external aggression, against all forms of terrorism, and, especially, against cyber terrorism. Thus, regional conflicts and security crises are on the rise, leading to the emergence of global risks and threats. This can be counteracted by remote sensing, a science which is in significant progress, due to technological development characterizing the 21st century. Under these circumstances, the aerospace component has become critical in the conduct of the latest armed conflicts, as the information on the movements of large groups of people is a key element in carrying out military operations.
