Concerns of Vocational Education

Summary/Abstract: W artykule przedstawiono podstawowe zagrożenia, jakie występują w obszarze edukacji zawodowej. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na znaczenie pracy w systemie wartości społecznych i relacje między pozycją pracy w hierarchii wartości a postrzeganiem edukacji zawodowej. Omówiono także zagrożenia natury kadrowej, infrastrukturalnej i programowej oraz niepokoje związane z realizacją procesu kształcenia i doradztwem edukacyjno-zawodowym. The paper describes basic problems within the area of vocational education. The emphasis is put on the significance of work within the system of social values and relations between the position of work in the hierarchy of values and the perception of vocational education. Other issues addressed in the paper include: threats connected with staff, infrastructure, and programmes, and problems linked to the process of education and vocational counselling.
