Summary/Abstract: In this paper, the author will try, through a brief review of the concept, characteristics, methods and subjects of clinical legal education to point out its significance and the reasons for the introduction in the curriculum of Facultys of Law. The theoretical knowledge that students gain during their studies, as much as good and multilayered it was, it is not enough to allow them to independently perform juristic call after obtaining a diploma. Successful and efficient performance of the legal profession requires the possession of a number of skills, such as interviewing skills, counseling, writing legal documents, etc., and just those skills are subject of clinical legal education. At most law schools has been set up legal clinics, but they have only an optional character.. In this paper, the author tries to prove the necessity of introducing clinical legal education as a compulsory subject, allowing all students to provide quality and complete theoretical and practical knowledge that will enable them to professional, conscientious, responsible, high-quality, professionally and independently perform their future profession.
