Summary/Abstract: In this article I argue in favor of the thesis that the transition from analogue to digital experimental work can be considered as a revolutionary change. This is particularly evident in the context of the revolution criteria proposed by Hacking, Kuhn's findings, however considering the changes in the theories, are also helpful when arguing in favor of the thesis. The use of the computer has certainly revolutionized the experimental study across multiple scientific disciplines.
