Summary/Abstract: 1. The contemporary younger generation becomes a subject of social and cultural transformations. It comes across the necessity of choosing particular values and shaping their own identity. A young man must meet with ideological emptiness and cultural crisis of these days, with the difficulty of establishing a sense of the current phenomena and one’s own existence. A persons’ upbringing has been subordinated to the ideology promoting the neutrality of views, which means bringing forward cognitive and moral scepticism and relativism. At the same time, conscious defining goals of education and the sense of responsibility for its results has been given up. The common denominator of these adverse social changes is the/a "crisis of truth", which is manifested as a/the crisis of the categories like, e.g.: love, freedom, free gift, a person. It results in rejecting the requirements of logic and even of common sense in formulating any theory or judgements and opinions also with regard to the marital-family life, in depreciating traditional form of marriage and family, blurring the proper meaning of these categories and eliminating from the social awareness the supernatural dimension of the everlasting communities - as the holy place, the home Church. 2. Young people need the/a pattern of life. The Pope's teaching will help the young people to understand the meaning of the concept of "love", to show the path of maturing of love and its variations. Pope John Paul II examined the question of love on the example of the Song of Songs. His monumental catechesis, based on the Bible and liturgy, reveal the depth and beauty of the relationship between man and woman, husband and wife. It is necessary to return to and rediscover the main thought of John Paul II, who kept teaching and reminding of the dignity and holiness of marriage and family. How to transmit values, norms and patterns of social, moral and religious, teaching about love, responsible parenthood, holiness of life and human dignity. So young people were aware of supernatural dimension of their life and that what they do has a deeper meaning and spiritual effect. 3. A sample selection of basic theological statements about love, human dignity, marriage and family may lead to understanding and proper experience of the reality of love, marriage and the process of building the Christian family. Drawing from the Bible, the Church's teaching, especially the teaching of John Paul II, may properly direct and sensitize young people to bear witness to the Christian life. 4. John Paul II's teaching on human dignity, marriage and the family, should enable a person to live in such a way that by excercising faith, hope and love one will place God at the center of one’s life.
