Labour migration in Central and Eastern Europe

Summary/Abstract: The article looks at the movement of workers in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) after the EU enlargement. In the first section, the author analyses the most recent statistics illustrating emigration to other EU member states and the scale of return migrations. The second section of the paper presents the main demographic challanges to CEE countries and discusses if the imigration could be an answer to these challanges.
